film previews
I know I promised a short video clip from A's school play, but I have never used my camera's film setting before, so we are having a few technical difficulties. Hopefully we will get them figured out soon. And unfortunately because I was so busy trying to record it on my camera, I didn't get too many good pics. Anyway, here are a few moments from this past week, including "Tikki Tikki Tembo", E's new mannequin friends, and some nature drawings using our Crayola's True to Life markers, which we love. :)
Tikki tikki tembo-no sa rembo-chari bari ruchi-pip peri pembo. That was one of my favorite books in elementary school. Awesome. I can't wait til my girls are in plays. I loved theater, still do. Great picture of your boy with the plastic people. So funny!
I am so excited for X to be in Kindergarten...all those funny little performances! I remember always feeling super important when my parents would come to school for them.
Erin, I just happened to finish writing my post when I noticed your comment. After reading your wonderful interest postings I think you are my daughter! I felt as though I was reading her list of interests. She lives in Yellow Springs, Ohio. I have been watching her develop into a very aware young woman about her surroundings, nature, her diet, and her general wishes for the life she wants to lead. I am fascinated by the commitment it takes to raise children outside of "mainstream" standards. My own childhood was so incredibly unique that I understand this desire in so many young people now. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by. I am glad to know of your blog. Elizabeth
