Just wanted to share with you some pretty little things and interesting reads I have picked up recently for very little money!
1) Purse, Old Navy $12
(total splurge compared to everything else on the list, but I try to only buy one new purse a season, under $15.)
2) Tea pot kitchen timer, World Market $3
(Which the boys have also used as a stopwatch.)
3) Large and small notebook, Target clearance $2-3
(I use the small one to take notes about all of my new blogger friends, little bits of information I don't want to forget! And the large one to jot down recipes from library cookbooks.)
4) Clay (pack of five), United Arts and Education $3-4
(Hmm.. betcha can't guess what my next post is going to be about!)
5) Make a Story Writing Journal, United Arts and Education $2-3
(My oldest LOVES this! I'm sure we'll be going back for more soon.)
6) Books, library- free!!! Including..
"Bringing Reggio Emilia Home" by Louise Boyd Cadwell
"How to be an Explorer of the World" by Keri Smith
"Death by Suburb" by David L. Goetz
"The World's Last Night, and other Essays" by C.S. Lewis
"Jim & Casper Go to Church" by Jim Henderson & Matt Casper
Your little arrangement in the photo makes me so happy! I feel like we're at tea together or something! So adorable.
ReplyDeletegreat finds! What bargains. I love looking for bargains too esp. in small stores, but large stores like Target will do too. It's the little things that make us girls so happy. :)
