Which then made me think of..

And the the award for best balloon film goes to..
We've been watching The Red Balloon with Xander for a year or so. It's a library check-out regular! I'll never forget the look on his face when the little boy takes flight at the end, holding on to all those balloons! White Mane, also by LaMorisse is a wonderful little gem, too. Your older one would probably enjoy it more than the youngest. Xander also enjoys reading the book La Ballon Rouge as well, the book also by LaMorisse. It's usually in the Juvenille Fiction section.
ReplyDeletesaw the red balloon in a college film course what seems like a hundred years ago! i should check it out again..... i vote for the scrubs episode though. i really dig that show. hope you are all on the mend.
