Music video Monday

Today has not been my favorite or my best. You might want to quickly prepare yourselves for the slightly disturbing story I am about to share... Ready?

Okay, so Saturday while eating pasta salad and fruit my back molar filling came out along with half of my tooth and I nearly swallowed it. I went to my dentist today to have him look at it and basically he said that it looks like the dentist who did my root canal and filling two years didn't put a post in and over time my tooth slowly began disintegrating under the filling. I haven't experienced any pain from it, so I'm sure you can imagine my shock when suddenly and randomly my tooth decides to fall out in the middle of lunch. Now, I have to make an appointment with an oral surgeon to have the rest of it removed. Awesome. So, basically, we spent $1,000 two years ago to save this tooth and now I have to pay to get it removed! Something just doesn't seem fair about this whole scenario. On top of that, I found out that I also need to have my wisdom teeth removed. Sure am looking forward to that! And.. it is freezing outside and sleeting a rainy snow-like mixture.. in April! :(

Did I mention this is not my favorite or my best day?

Okay, now that I'm done with my rant I'll move onto a happier story. The Good part about lunch that day was that I got to share it with my BFFF (best freaking friend forever) Jamie who came to stay with us this past weekend. :) She is a proud member of the Vegetarian club that my oldest started over a year ago, and they were finally able to have their first Star Wars themed club meeting together Saturday afternoon. (Living two hours apart has caused some slight meeting conflictions in the past.) My youngest was invited as well. I was excluded because (many apologies to all of my raw food/vegan/vegetarian readers) I have started eating salmon and tuna again. We aren't sure what the Papa panda eats on his lunch breaks at work, so he is a questionable vegetarian and was excluded as well. I did go out of my way though to prepare a healthy vegetarian meal open to EVERYONE after the meeting, which we all enjoyed together. Jamie and I have been best friends since High School and I still remember the first time we met. It was on the porch steps of this little building at the County fair. We were hanging out with mutual friends, started talking, discovered that we were both vegetarians, and have been inseparable ever since! :)

Because it is Music video Monday, I have decided to devote this week's musical parody to Jamie. :) Enjoy! Lol..

  2. I'm sorry you had such a rough day! I was in Tunisia (N. Africa) last May when the same thing happened to my tooth! I had to call my husband when we got back to France to have him schedule me with the dentist as soon as I got home! What an annoyance!
Glad you got to hang out with an old friend. They are the best kind! :)
